All of my gaming posts have moved to their new home with Night Owl at thelatenightsession.com. Please support this great blog that has been provided all manner of excellent tech, gaming and geek news for a number of years.
I’m glad to be writing back with Night Owl and will be posting some thoughts around Need for Speed Heat and Jedi: Fallen Order in the coming days.
Over the last two weeks I’ve had to work on prioritising my time, so I am sorry I haven’t written much on the blog.
It was a hard decision to make but I’ve decided to keep my blog related to writing from now on. Future gaming and IT tech related news is going to re-home itself at thelatenightsession.com, where I have been writing game reviews and other interesting tech articles for a few years.
The reason for this is simple. I am working on book two of The Ebonsheare Chronicles and that has to remain my priority for the next six months. I love writing about gaming and tech, so I’m still hoping to contribute on Night Owl’s blog – just not necessarily in a regular fashion.
Thank you to those who have provided feedback and said you’ve enjoyed reading Wolf and the Crow. It has been an exciting project and that is why I want my focus to be finishing Book 2. I’ll provide updates on the progress of Book 2 via my website as well.
Over the next week, my web presence will take a more website like approach and move away from the blog one. Please feel free to still reach out to me via:
I’ve sent back some final changes to the publisher for my debut novel. Overall I’m really happy with it, so I think it will only need one more brief review before it can be released.
Certainly has been a bigger process to bring to the publishing point than I first expected. I imagine Book 2 of The Ebonsheare Chronicles will be a lot easier, as I have a good grasp of the full process now.
Thanks to all my readers and fans for their support. I know you have been waiting for a while, but (fingers crossed) it won’t be long now.
Being stuck in the house for the last few weeks has meant I’ve been gaming a little more than usual and my modded Arcade1Up has given me plenty of distractions. Converting to a RetroPie based system has really inspired me to play it even more than I had previously. As a result I thought it […]
Time for something completely different! Red Metal over at Extra Life kindly nominated me and others to answer some questions and pass on the blogging love… something I haven’t done for a while! If you haven’t checked out their blog please do so – their reviews are great examples on how long form game reviews […]
April’s Xbox Games with Gold announcement was kept to the last moment but a few astute gamers picked up what we’d be seeing after the first batch launched a day early. Today the official news via Xbox Wire confirmed the rumours and also filled in the blanks. The games to be available are: Project CARS […]
I didn’t think I’d be making another entry since I’d reached my destination last week but after just arriving at the Great Annihilator I really had to make another post and add a short epilogue to my travels. 🙂 If you think visiting one black hole might be intimidating, try two! Arriving in the system […]
If you need proof that even the worst of players can pull off a lucky shot during online games, here’s a clip of me from a Battlefield V session last week with a group of friends. I was expecting to be on the wrong side of an attacking plane (again) but it seems this time […]
